Privacy notice

The short version

Everything you type into HiddenWay is calculated in your browser. Nothing you enter is saved. We don't use cookies. We don't ask for your name or email. We count visits with privacy-first analytics that hold no personal data.

What we collect

One thing, and only if you choose to: when you tap Yes or No on the feedback question, we receive your answer along with the income, escape contribution, and tax relief figures from your calculation. We don't attach your name, email, or any account to it. The submission reaches us through Formspree, which logs your IP address as part of running its service. We don't use that IP or link it to your figures.

How feedback is handled

• Feedback is submitted via Formspree, a form-processing service. Formspree's own privacy policy applies to their processing.
• Submissions are deleted from Formspree within 30 days.
• We retain the anonymised figures by email for product analysis: understanding whether the tool helps the people it's built for.

How we count visits

We use GoatCounter to count visits. It's privacy-first: no cookies, no personal data, no tracking across sites. We see aggregate numbers only, such as how many people opened the tool and which pages they viewed. We can't identify you from them.

What we never collect

No cookies. No advertising trackers. No data brokers. No tracking across other sites. Your calculation inputs never leave your device unless you submit feedback, and even then no identifying information travels with them.

If you contact hiddenwayapp@gmail.com, we'll use your email address only to reply. We won't add you to any list.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights over personal data, including access, correction, and erasure. Because feedback submissions carry no identifiers, we can't tell which is yours. But if you've emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.
